Cinderella's Closet is a very special philanthropic project to Assistance League of Boise members. Twice a year formal wear is "loaned" to Ada County high school students, making their dreams come true for a very special evening.

This year 320 high school students were outfitted by Cinderella's Closet.

High school students should never need to turn down an invitation to the prom, homecomming, or other formal events due to the prohibitive cost of formal wear. From our large selection of donated formal wear (gowns and tuxedos),  Ada Conty high school students may borrow, for a $10.00 cleaning fee, stylish formal wear.

Each student is greeted at our "boutique"  by a "Fairy Godmother" who is waiting to serve as a personal shopper. Students leave the boutique feeling special and ready for their event. Members also feel thrilled to be of assistance.

We offer a nice selection of tuxedos.

 Requirements:

• Ada County High School  I.D.
• $10 cleaning fee

• During regular business hours to the Assistance League Thrift Shop
• Tell the volunteer in the Thrift Shop you are leaving a return for Cinderella's Closet
• Leave your name and phone number on a piece of paper attached to the formal wear
• You will be contacted by a member of the Cinderella Closet committee

• Bring your "gently used" gowns/formal wear to the Assistance League Thrift Shop and mention Cinderella's Closet to a volunteer
• Dresses should be no more than three years old
• Your formal wear will make a teen's dreams come true, instead of taking up space in your closet
• All sizes are welcome, we are especially in need of plus size dresses
• A tax receipt will be provided
